About the Welwyn Festival
Established in 1974, the Welwyn Festival was created with a clear and enduring mission: to bring local people together. By hosting a wide variety of engaging events and activities, we offer everyone the chance to celebrate our vibrant community while raising vital funds for local charities throughout the year.
How We Support Good Causes
At the start of each year, we invite the public to nominate local causes, and charities are also welcome to reach out to us directly. Our committee works hard to curate a diverse calendar of events designed to generate money for these worthy organisations, bolstered by generous contributions from the Welwyn 10k.
Thanks to the funds raised from our events, alongside incredible support from sponsors and individual donations, we proudly backed a wide range of local charities this year, and raised a total of £17,150, including a fantastic £7685.13 from the Welwyn 10K.
