Open Gardens

There are several gorgeous gardens available to visit during the 50th anniversary festival week this year.

Come alone or with friends

Relax and enjoy refreshments at each garden

£2 per adult, children under 12 free

6 – 8 pm, Tuesday 23^rd June:  1 Bowmans Close, Welwyn AL6 9QE

A colourful garden with greenhouse, pots and shrubs and several places to sit and ponder.  Check out the front garden veggies on the way in.

6 – 8 pm, Wednesday 24^th June:  15 Turpins Ride, Oaklands AL6 0QU

A flower-filled colourful garden with interesting areas connected by steps and slopes and a water feature.

3 – 5 pm, Thursday 25^th June:  Gothic House, 23 Church St, Welwyn, AL6 9LW

Gothic House is a gem of a garden in the center of the village. An eclectic mix of semi tropical plants.

6 – 8 pm, Thursday 25^th June:  20 Carleton Rise, Welwyn AL6 9RF - NEW!!!

A beautifully designed plant-filled garden with water feature and beautiful terrace.

6 – 8 pm, Friday 26^th June:  7 Dicket Mead, Welwyn AL6 9NX

A new Mediterranean gravel garden designed to take lots of sunshine and still look great with little maintenance.  Use of driftwood and oak stumps.  Interesting and quirky.

All monies raised from visitors and plant/refreshment sales will go to various local causes.
