An illustrated talk by Elizabeth Hamilton
Thursday 21 June 2018
In 1928 the Hertfordshire branch of the Campaign to Protect Rural England (CPRE) was formed. Many people are completely unaware of the role played by CPRE nationally and locally in protecting the 80% of Hertfordshire which remains rural today. How that came about is a fascinating story, involving persuasion and persistence rather than power, with many unsung heroes and campaigns lost as well as won.
We would love you to join us in New Church House, Welwyn, at 7.30pm on Thursday 21 June for this interesting, informative and inspiring talk.
