Welwyn 10K – 2018
Taking place on the 24th of June this year, the Welwyn 10k is a scenic road race which helps raise funding for local projects and charities. We look forward to seeing all participants and their supporters.
The 10k race is suitable for all standards of runner but unsuitable for wheelchairs, as the route includes a number of surfaces and terrains. Starting at 11am at Singlers Marsh, Codocote Road, at the Northern edge of Welwyn village, all entries must be confirmed before the race date – there is maximum capacity for 600 runners. There are no entries on the day for the 10km. Organised by Garden City Runners in partnership with Welwyn Festival, the race will be chip-timed. Further information is on the Welwyn10k website.
On the same day, a 2k Family Fun Run starts at 11.10am. This is an off-road, circular run on fields and footpaths, ideal for families and suitable for runners and walkers of all ages. There will be team prizes for primary and secondary school girls and boys plus participation medals for everyone.
Please use the online entry form.
