Volunteering: We Need You!

"For Welwyn, By Welwyn"

The Welwyn Festival is a fantastic, week-long celebration built on a simple philosophy: it is an event for Welwyn, created by the people of Welwyn. However, pulling off a community event of this scale takes a tremendous amount of organisation. To put it simply—we urgently need your help!

How You Can Get Involved

Our dedicated committee is made up entirely of local residents who generously volunteer their time and energy. We are currently looking for new members and extra hands across a wide variety of roles. There is a way for everyone to help, regardless of your schedule:

• Join the Committee: Help us plan, organise, and shape the festival behind the scenes (primarily between January and June).

• Event Day Helpers: Don't have time for regular meetings? No problem! Simply come along and donate just a couple of hours of your time during one of our many events.

Join the Fun!

While it takes hard work, we also have an incredible amount of fun putting the whole festival together and, ultimately, enjoying the activities alongside our community. We are always looking for new members, and absolutely everyone is welcome!
