A walled garden rescued from being a wilderness 20 years ago. The garden is a mix of herbs and shrubs with a beautiful display of roses

Digswell Horticultural Society - Open Garden Village Trail – a collection of 5 local Digswell Gardens open for the Welwyn Festival
Purchase your ticket at the first house £5 adults (children under 12 free) – ticket includes a “passport” to all 5 Digswell Gardens |
Start the Open Garden trail at 77 Warren Way, AL6 0DL. - A family garden with access to surrounding woodland. Medium sized multi-purpose garden with an eclectic mix of planting- perennial borders and mixed shrubs.

A medium sized mature garden with many beds sporting cottage garden favourites along with tropical borders (including bananas and tetrapanax) and a fernery. The greenhouses contain carnivorous plants and vegetables. Refreshments available |

Parking is available at the top end of North Ride, AL6 9RD or nearby on the Danesbury Estate. |
Danesbury Fernery, built in 1860, has been recovered by volunteers who continue to work hard to restore the garden as a community asset. Further planting has recently taken place and entertainment will once again be provided by the Welwyn Harmony Choir.

Daily entrance to gardens in and around Welwyn Village is £2 per adult (children under 12 free}
